Dr. Theresa B. Murry
Dr. Murry earned her Doctorate of Chiropractic, Magna Cum Laude from Life Chiropractic College West, San Leandro, California in 2000. With eight chiropractors in her family, chiropractic has been an integral part of her life for over forty years.
Dr. Murry has helped thousands of people recover from acute injuries and chronic conditions for 18 years. She is known for her humor, warm, compassionate demeanor and skilled adjusting techniques which facilitates patients’ trust, comfort, and outcome.
One of her strengths is her extensive training and comprehensive protocol with injury treatment. Dr. Murry utilizes scientifically validated techniques including cold laser, instrument and manual spinal, extremity, and soft tissue adjustment techniques. She understands the importance of taking a multi disciplinary approach co-manage complex injuries with the goal of achieving full recovery.
Outside of practice, Dr. Murry is a koi hobbyist, enjoys gardening, upland bird hunting, fishing, training for fitness competitions, traveling and spending time with her husband, Allan and their two English Setters ‘Wynston‘ and ‘Bailey’.
Dr. Dylan Semu
Dr. Dylan Semu received his Doctorate in Chiropractic at Macquarie University, Sydney, Australia in 2003. He is skilled at working with athletes to get them functionally fit and at top performance. He started as a chiropractic physician in a large medical practice and emergency care facility in New Zealand. Dr. Semu understands the importance of taking a multidisciplinary approach to optimize injury outcome and maximize athletic performance.
Dr. Semu was honored by being the 4th generation of holistic healers selected in his family and was indoctrinated by his mother who was taught the Samoan traditional art of massage, fo’fo‘ (pronounced “four-four”) by their descendants. Dr. Semu has grown up with this traditional Samoan manual medicine technique using the hands to unlock the body’s innate mechanisms to allow it to heal naturally. This was the root of his destiny to become a Chiropractor.
Dr. Semu dedicates his free time to his 6 children and wife Serena. He is an avid rugby fan, and when not in practice you will find him assisting with the youth rugby league, on the basketball court or training at the gym, or attending his athletically and scholastically inclined children’s events.
Our Massage Therapists
Licensed Massage Therapist
Alex completed his massage therapy certification from Florida College of Natural Health in 2001. He has been practicing in Bellingham since 2003.
His specialty is in injury treatment using Neuromuscular Therapy, Sports Massage, Myofascial Release, and Deep Tissue techniques to aid patients in their healing process. Alex enjoys yoga, hiking, weight lifting & recreational dancing with his wife & five daughters. Prior to his career in massage was a ballroom dance instructor. The highlight of his professional dance career was performing at the Halftime show at Super Bowl XXXIIIs.
Licensed Massage Therapist
After 20 years in IT, Lisa left the world of technology in search of her bliss – and she found it with massage. Lisa received her massage certification in 2011 from the Colorado School of Healing Arts. She is also a Reiki Master/Teacher and level one healing touch practitioner. Starting her practice in Colorado, Lisa specialized in sports massage and injury recovery, working with professional and elite ultra runners, century cyclists, international men’s and women’s 7’s rugby, and a Denver Bronco or two.
Lisa and her wife moved to Bellingham in March of 2020 and are enjoying this amazing town. They enjoy travel and are major foodies.
Our Chiropractic Assistants
Kelly has more than 20 years’ experience working in chiropractic and complimentary health clinics. She brings to Murry Chiropractic her expertise in billing, reception and patient care. What Kelly loves most about her career is being part of an upbeat team whose members all have similar goals of improving people’s lives.
Kelly spent time growing up in California and Oregon but considers Washington home. She enjoys spending time cooking and baking, camping and enjoying the beautiful outdoors. Most of all, she enjoys spending time with friends and family, especially her husband Aaron and son Logan.
Jaime is our newest front staff Chiropractic Assistant. She likes getting to know our patients and looks forward to meeting new ones.
She and her partner Matt are lifelong residents of Whatcom County. Jamie enjoys painting, throwing clay, coffee, anything in the outdoors, and her cats, ‘Nani’ and ‘Scout’.
